In March 2021 and April 2022, Olds College hosted a live streamed two-hour event celebrating Alberta’s vibrant agriculture industry; sharing information about the Olds College Smart Farm’s hands-on, high-tech learning experiences; and celebrating industry partners.
I mocked up several concepts for a stage design; once a design was chosen I drafted fabrication drawings and the set was built in-house. The set was built using weathered barnwood with durability and ease of setup in mind. It has proven to be very versatile and is used throughout the year as a focal point for events and expos.
